Two roles, one standard
We have two levels: IT & Security Professional and IT & Security Expert. Both work independently, both take ownership, both are rewarded on impact.
IT & Security Professional
For professionals with 5+ years of IT experience, part of it in security, IAM or cloud. You're a CISSP Associate or pass your CISSP exam in your first year. You work independently on IT challenges and can be deployed directly with clients.
IT & Security Expert
For experienced professionals with 8+ years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in your specialism: security, IAM or cloud (such as DevOps, Kubernetes or infrastructure as code). Security is a fixed part of your work. You're CISSP-certified or pass your CISSP exam in your first year. You tackle complex challenges independently and think strategically with the client.
Your work at Argus IT
You work on IT challenges at clients, among others in energy, healthcare, government and financial services. Sometimes on-site, sometimes remote, sometimes hybrid. For longer assignments or shorter projects. What you do exactly depends on the client and your specialism. The common thread is always the same: security runs through everything we deliver at Argus IT, whether you're working on IAM, a cloud platform or detection and response.
You take ownership of your assignment. No passing the buck, no excuses. If something needs to happen, you handle it. If you don't know something, you figure it out or ask for help.
You work without a manager. This doesn't mean you're alone, you have colleagues to consult with. But it does mean you organize your own work, communicate directly with clients, and make your own decisions.
You're rewarded based on impact. The more value you deliver, the more you earn.

Salary and benefits
Base salary
A good base salary, before we even get to your bonus.
IT & Security Professional: €4,000 gross per month
IT & Security Expert: €5,500 gross per month
IT & Security Professional: €4,000 gross per month
IT & Security Expert: €5,500 gross per month
Impact-based bonus
Car lease or mobility
A mobility allowance or a lease car, plus a first class NS Business Card for business travel.
IT & Security Professional: €700 gross per month
IT & Security Expert: €1,000 gross per month
IT & Security Professional: €700 gross per month
IT & Security Expert: €1,000 gross per month
CISSP certification
No CISSP yet? We pay for your certification in your first year. Already certified? We pay the annual costs to keep it. CISSP is our standard, whatever your specialism.
Also included
- 8% holiday allowance on top of your base salary
